JoinMe, the first Arab women empowerment platform, celebrated International Women’s Day. Raghad Khalifa, co-founder and CEO of the platform, opened the celebration with a speech in which she stressed the importance of taking advantage of the unlimited opportunities for women in the UAE, through the communication and cohesion of a women’s community of 200 nationalities and 3 different generations. She stressed the importance of discovering the energies and capabilities hidden in every woman, and enhancing them through knowledge, communication, inspiration and innovation. This makes every woman the creator of her own success story. This is the foundation of the Join Me platform, which aims to be the ideal destination for women seeking to overcome homesickness and connect with women from different cultures, through the various services it provides to women, including getting to know women who share their interests, connecting with women interested in specific topics, and raising discussions and organizing events. The platform also enables women to apply for job opportunities and training opportunities from companies seeking to empower women, and finally supporting female entrepreneurs by advertising their projects and inspiring women with periodic success stories that are celebrated through the platform.
The celebration included three dialogue sessions for inspiring women, who shared their success stories and offered golden advice from their life experiences to all women in attendance.
The first session, titled “Beyond the Shadows,” was a beacon of hope and inspiration, as inspiring women shared their stories of overcoming challenges and embracing their strength as women. From breaking social barriers to shattering the glass ceiling, these influencers demonstrated the strength and resilience inherent in femininity.
The conversation then turned to the world of entrepreneurship with the “Entrepreneur Mindset” session, where female entrepreneurs took the main stage, offering valuable insights into their journeys to success. From navigating the ins and outs of starting a business, to overcoming obstacles, and achieving goals, these women demonstrated the entrepreneurial spirit and determination that sets them apart.
